Brittany Solis, MD, is a general surgeon that specializes in hernia repairs (open and laparoscopic), surgical treatment of melanoma, soft tissue removal, and diseases of the gallbladder.
As a surgeon, Dr. Solis wants to have open and transparent communication with her patients, so they have a clear understanding of their diagnosis and treatment options. She feels that treating the whole patient, from their surgical needs to any personal needs—home environment, financial concerns, transportation—is most important for the patient. To her, any personal needs should not impede the surgical care that is needed, so she wants to make sure her patients have the resources they need to meet their health goals. She also wants to be sure to listen to her patients concerns. Spending the extra time with patients to help them make clear, informed decisions is important to Dr. Solis.
Dr. Solis is a board-certified general surgeon. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and then completed her residency with the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. She’s excited to be working in Gwinnett County and becoming engrained within the area.
